15 Toddler Approved Snacks from Costco- That Make Life Easier!

Toddlers run on snacks. If you see a toddler, they’ll most likely have a snack in hand.

Whether we’re headed to the park, the grocery store, or embarking on a long car ride, snacks are life. And if you’re anything like me, you want options that are quick, healthy-ish, and toddler-approved—without needing to go into debt to afford them.

That’s where Costco come in clutch for toddler snacks. Buying in bulk saves time, money, and (most importantly) meltdowns. So if you’re wondering what the best toddler snacks at Costco are, you’re in the right place.

Here are 14 easy, affordable, and toddler-approved snacks from Costco that I always keep stocked in our house, car, and my purse

1. Veggie Straws (Individual Packs)

These are crunchy, salty, and satisfying—the trifecta for toddlers. The individual snack packs are perfect for portion control and easy cleanup, and they travel well without crumbling into a million pieces.

Why it works: A chip-like snack that feels like a treat, but is made with vegetables? That’s a parenting win.

2. Smoothie Bites

These freeze-dried bites of fruit and yogurt are melt-in-your-mouth delicious and feel like candy to a toddler. The best part? They’re made from real ingredients.

My twins absolutely LOVE these and I swear they ask for them at least once a day.

3. That’s it. Fruit Bars

These are seriously one of my favorite healthy snacks for toddlers from Costco. They’re made from just two ingredients—fruit and more fruit. No added sugar. No preservatives. Just fruit.

Example: Apple + Mango or Apple + Strawberry.

This is another snack that my twins ask for quite regularly. I don’t have any guilt from giving in to them snacking on these, since they’re made from 100% fruit! They’re also small-ish in size, so they’re easy to throw in any size bag.

4. Bear Fruit Rolls

Think fruit roll-ups, but without the sugar crash or sticky hands. These are made with pureed fruit and come in fun roll-up form that toddlers can unravel (while you get a few minutes of silence).

These come with 2 rolls in a pack, so with 2 kids, it’s easy to split one package.

5. Nutella & Go Packs

Not every snack needs to be health food, okay?

Sometimes a little chocolate is exactly what gets you through a grocery store meltdown. These are perfect as a treat or reward, and the breadsticks make it feel interactive.

It’s all about balance, right?

These do have a tendency to be a bit messy, though. You know- toddlers. So pack these accordingly

6. Kirkland Soft & Chewy Granola Bars

These are perfect for older toddlers. They’re soft enough for little mouths, not overly sweet, and packed with whole grains.

These do have some added sugar in them, which I try to avoid. But the twins love these, and it puts a little more sustenance in their bellies.

7. Beef Sticks

Beef sticks are protein-packed and on-the-go toddler snack gold. These are ideal for travel or anytime you need a mess-free savory option.

I get these exact ones and cut them into smaller portions. Smaller than these long sticks, but big enough for the twins to hold onto. We place a couple sticks into snack-size plastic bags for a more mobile snack.

8. String Cheese

Simple. Reliable. Loved by toddlers everywhere. String cheese is a staple because it’s fun to peel, easy to eat, and packed with protein.

I’m not sure what it is about toddlers and cheese sticks- but they always seem to be a hit. And also a great go-to snack.

9. Sargento Balanced Breaks

Again, more cheese.

These come with cheese and crackers (sometimes dried fruit too) in a divided tray, which toddlers love. It feels fancy but requires zero prep.

It’s like a mini charcuterie board.

And I’m not going to lie, I always have to grab one for myself too.

10. Yogurt Bites

Another Costco toddler snack that gets two thumbs up in our house. These are so yummy!

These also have added sugar, but are a great source of fiber and probiotics.

Just be careful because these tend to melt pretty easily! My twins have put these in the cup holders of their car seats, and I’ve come back to a melted yogurt mess.

11. Kirkland Organic Applesauce Pouches

These pouches are made from 100% organic applesauce with no added sugar, and they’re super toddler-friendly.

A great on the go snack!

12. Kirkland Fruit & Vegetable Pouches

Trying to sneak in some veggies? These pouches are the answer. They blend fruits with hidden veggies like kale, spinach, or carrots—and your toddler will never know.

13. NOKA Protein Smoothie Pouches

These plant-based superfood pouches are great for older toddlers. Full of protein, fiber, and fruit, they’re perfect for mornings when your kid demands breakfast now and you haven’t even opened your eyes yet.

I bring these for a heavier protein filled snack on days we’re out of the house for longer. That way I know that the twins are getting the nutrients that they need.

14. Fresh Fruit (Bananas, Grapes, Blueberries)

Don’t overlook the classics! Costco has giant packs of toddler faves like bananas, grapes, and blueberries. Wash, cut (grapes especially!), and portion ahead of time for easy snacks for kids all week.

15. DeeBee’s Organics SuperFruit Freezie Pops

These organic freezer pops are made with 100% juice, no added sugar, and zero artificial anything. They come in fun fruity flavors like mango, blueberry pomegranate, and strawberry lemon, and they’re toddler-safe (and mom-approved)

You can let your kids eat these popsicles and still remain “guilt free”. They’re essentially just water and fruit!

Why we love them:

  • No stick = no sticky mess
  • Shelf-stable until you freeze them
  • The perfect warm-weather treat that still checks the healthy snacks for toddlers Costco box
